Your child will have access to a secure private garden under the supervision of qualified staff, providing fun packed activities every day. We are very committed to providing a ‘home from home’ environment, catering for children aged 4 to 11 years. We provide a stimulating environment for your child to enjoy with lots of resources and technology provided for the benefit of all children . Meals will be provided in line with the nursery menu, we will also run a three-week hot tea menu freshly prepared each day by our onsite kitchen team.
Our provision follows the Playwork Principles, so your child is free to choose activities and resources he/she wishes. There will always be a selection of activities and resources available, including dressing up, home corner, craft, board games, construction, physical play, cookery, and reading. In addition other resources are available for the children to select from our equipment library
The food we provide at the provision is not intended as a substitute for a main evening meal. We provide healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables. We promote independence, by encouraging the children to prepare their own snacks, and to clear away after themselves. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. We meet individual dietary requirements and parental preferences wherever possible. We recognise the importance of healthy nutrition for children delivered in a calm, friendly setting. In line with the nursery menu, we run a three-week menu freshly prepared each day by our dedicated kitchen team. Fresh drinking water is available at all times.
We value our relationship with parents and are committed to working in partnership with you to provide top quality play and care for your child. We will:
1. No fighting
2. Be kind to each other
3. Share toys and games – don’t exclude anyone
4. Wash hands before eating and after using the toilet
5. Take care of the toys and equipment
