Welcome to Rabbits,
where the fun never stops!

At Little Owls Day Nursery and Pre-School, children are supported to become independent and develop self-help skills through group routines and tailored activities.

At the age of 2, they make a huge leap in their thinking skill as they learn to use their imagination and develop their own ideas.

never ending fun

primary focus

Our primary focus in this room is on variety of activities significant at this age:

  • Creative and imaginative thinking

  • Freedom of expression and effective communication

  • Learn to share

  • Development on focus and self-control

  • Taking on Challenges

  • Learning about rules and boundaries

  • Colour recognition and naming

  • Counting and number recognition

  • Development of fine motor skills and hand eye co-ordination in preparation for early writing

  • Group participation (Dancing, Music & Movements)

  • Forming friendships

  • Further development of Critical Thinking - developing the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking

In addition, one of the key milestones is toilet training. Every child is unique and toilet training is a new skill for a child to learn. Most children control their bowels before their bladder and it usually takes a little longer before they learn to stay dry throughout the night. We apply a personalised approach to each child and work closely with parents to facilitate a successful outcome.

TESTIMONIALS

Hello,

Seasons greetings for this time of the year!
As the year draws to a close, I would like to take this as an opportunity to thank everyone at little owls for the faith they instill in me that my child is taken care of, while in their premises.

I would like to make a special mention for Ellis , who had been excellent in helping Tanu transition to Owls. Tanu looks forward to going to nursery now, which is very reassuring for me. As she is starting full time from Jan, it was imperative for me to see her happy there. The credit goes to all the other staff in the owls room too (Tom, Vicki and the others) , who help contribute in her development in some way or another. The year would’ve been incomplete without recognising them for their work. Thank you for helping to shape my little girl’s young mind.

Kind regards

Archana
